About DownSpotlight
DownSpotlight is a small, free tool for saving public Snapchat Spotlight videos. We built it because most downloader sites are full of ads, fake buttons and sign-up walls, when all you want is a file.
Here's how it works: you paste a link, our server asks Snapchat for the public Spotlight page, and the video is passed on to your device. Nothing is uploaded to an account, and nothing is kept once the download is over.
DownSpotlight is an independent project with no connection to Snap Inc. or Snapchat. The videos you find through it belong to their creators, so please use them with respect.
What we care about
- Simple: one box, one button
- Private: no accounts, no tracking scripts
- Fast: works in any modern browser
- Respectful: made for personal use, with creators in mind
